Estimator

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Glazing Jr. Estimator to be responsible for reviewing blueprints, specifications and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates on construction projects. Glazing Jr. Estimator Responsibilities:
• Train and perform takeoffs using glass and glazing information on prints and specifications.
• Able to learn, interpret blueprints and/or drawings.
• Gain knowledge of commercial glazing, new residential construction, and commercial service work will be required to perform accurate quotes.
• Create budgets for projects by getting quotes on materials and figuring labor costs.
• Prepare proposals for customers looking for pricing on new glass, glazing projects and remodel work.
• Be able to multitask all functions above in a moment's notice. Glazing Jr. Estimator Qualifications/Skills:
• General Construction and Customer Service knowledge is plus.
• Experience in estimating software or similar quoting tools.
• Understand measurements to be able to analyze blueprints to be able to calculate linear feet and square feet from shop drawings/measure sheets.
• Ability to communicate effectively by phone, in person, or through written formats.
• Ability to work under pressure in a detailed, organized manner.
• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Able to work independently and within a team
Education
•Preferred: Associated Degree in Business Administration or similar.

Schedule: Mon-Fri (7am-4pm)
