The role of the Estimator - Building Envelope will involve:
- Estimator position producing estimates for a range of industrial roofing and cladding solutions
- Review tender documents and produce high quality tender returns
- Utilise specialist estimating software to determine material costs
- Negotiate prices with supply chain and gather quotations for projects
- Liaise and build relationships with main contractor throughout the project and beyond
- Ensure that the internal CRM system is regularly updated
- Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Building Envelope experience with:
- Must have estimating experience within construction
- Ideally have experience estimating large projects
- Must be IT literate
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
