Summary
Prepares cost estimates and proposals for Extra Low Voltage systems like CCTV and access control in Dubai, analyzing tenders and coordinating with suppliers.
We are looking for an experienced Estimator with strong expertise in ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing tender documents, and supporting the sales and project teams with competitive and technically sound proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications for ELV systems
Prepare detailed cost estimates for systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Fire Alarm, AV, and BMS
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
Conduct site visits when required to assess project scope and conditions
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and compliance
Prepare technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements
Support the sales team during bid submissions and post-tender clarifications
Maintain updated pricing database and vendor list
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Estimator in an ELV company (UAE/GCC experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of ELV systems, standards, and local authority requirements
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software/tools
Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred:
Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
Experience working on large-scale commercial/residential projects
