Estimator
We’re hiring an Estimator for a general contractor. You’ll support multiple preconstruction efforts and lead estimates for assigned bids.
Location: Nashville, TN
What you’ll do
- Prepare estimates from early design through construction documents.
- Review plans and specifications, develop subcontractor scopes, and compare bids for gaps and exclusions.
- Track changes in cost, assess project risks, and identify value engineering opportunities.
- Work with project teams and subcontractors to build accurate budgets and proposals.
What we’re looking for
- 3–5 years of estimating experience with a general contractor.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with estimating and plan review tools such as OST and Bluebeam.
- An understanding of construction documents, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor pricing.
- OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
