The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates for manufacturing projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate quotes.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate bids from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
- Present comprehensive estimates and proposals to clients, outlining scope, costs, and timelines.
- Maintain and update a database of cost data, pricing, and vendor information.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities within project estimates and propose solutions.
Recommended Qualifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Epicor ERP system
- APICS certification
- Proficient in SolidWorks or other CAD software
- Project management experience
