Estimator - Millwork

Primary Objectives of the Estimator

• Residential, multifamily, and/or commercial takeoffs and estimations

Primary Responsibilities of the Estimator

• Produce accurate lumber & millwork material list per the plan
• Reviews drawings, specifications and all other construction documents
• Utilize estimating software (Bliffert / PlanSwift) for accurate material list
• Understand and adhere to deadlines
• Ability to work developing competent estimates, meeting building codes
• Contribute to a constructive working relationship with all staff, and contractors to promote a positive and productive atmosphere
• Use math skills such as basic arithmetic and geometry
• Evaluate plans for possible areas of concern
• Understand construction materials and applications
• Act as our store’s representative and provides exceptional customer service
• Protects company values by keeping financial information and plans confidential
• Creates and promotes safe work environment
• Reports injuries immediately to Manager
• Additional job responsibilities to be determined by Manager
