Job Title: Estimator
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities:
- Prepare standard WBS estimates and assumptions with confidence factors ranging from study to construction phases of the project.
- Provide 24/7 on call estimating services for emergent projects
- Develop unit cost and parametric estimate range for standard scope of work.
- Review the basis of an estimate during Project Estimate Challenge meetings.
- Incorporate project actuals into estimating methodology in order to ensure continuous improvement.
- Report project actuals against estimate at project completion
- Work with the project managers to ensure that the estimates are properly challenged and reviewed.
Required:
- 7 Year experience primarily with electrical projects required, lieu of degree
- Types of Projects (team avg 70 projects 500k to 5M)
- Transmissions
- Distributions
- Substations
- Heavy usage of Excel
- Construction project estimator project experience needed
- Past experience with electrical and drawing specs a huge plus
- Driving to some job sites and doing walk-downs will be required
- Looking for Estimators, not Project Managers
- F2F interview will be required before hire
