Due to the development of various projects and a customer base that
trusts on the integrity and reliability of the company’s brand by name,
they are seeking to employ an Estimator/ Project Manager that has
extensive experience in the field of HVAC Services.
About the Position…
In this position, you will be responsible for the day to day
management of the company’s estimating requirements including the
estimating team and preparation of detailed estimates. You will be
required to liaison with suppliers, internal and external team members
to develop effective solutions to exceed the client’s expectations. You
will need to ensure that submissions are complete, together with the
relevant documentation, while also working with engineers to develop
alternative solutions to improve the quality and value of the estimate
submissions. Part of the position also includes Managing Projects both
on-site and off-site.
Further responsibilities include:
- Evaluating requests for tender and identifying new projects, while coordination and planning each tender.
- Detailed estimate take-offs for materials and equipment.
- Follow up tender bids to find out the successful builder and get feedback on pricing.
- Attend tender meetings and site inspections as required.
The Ideal Candidate…
The ideal candidate will be experienced in resourcing and estimating
within the HVAC sector, while also having the ability to manage projects
and process technical information to make clear decisions, alongside a
collaborative team working environment. You will need to have experience
in the review of tender drawings and specifications, identifying any
areas of concern or requirements that are out of the ordinary.
