Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing metal fabrication and manufacturing team. This role is responsible for reviewing customer drawings and specifications, developing accurate cost estimates, and supporting sales efforts by providing timely and competitive quotations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes.

External Relationships: Occasional and incidental contact with customers or prospective customers

Primary Responsibilities:
- Review customer drawings, models, and specifications to prepare accurate estimates and quotes.
- Develop bills of materials (BOMs), manufacturing processes, and production routing.
- Calculate material, labor, equipment, and outside processing costs.
- Work closely with customers, vendors, sales, engineering, and production teams.
- Analyze production data to improve estimating accuracy and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain estimating tools, calculators, and costing databases.
- Monitor estimate-to-actual performance and recommend improvements.
- Prioritize multiple projects while meeting customer deadlines.
