ETG Director of Sales- ERP Systems
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a ETG Director of Sales — ERP Systems based in United States.
This role leads end-to-end sales growth for enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, professional services, and technology offerings.
You will own the full commercial cycle, from market outreach and pipeline generation through opportunity development, proposal creation, negotiation, and contract closure.
A major focus will be on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, including licenses, implementation services, managed services, and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) solutions.
You will build relationships with mid-market and upper mid-market customers, technology partners, Microsoft stakeholders, and industry contacts to generate and expand business opportunities.
Working closely with solution architects, consulting teams, product leaders, marketing, and executive leadership, you will shape compelling solutions and winning commercial proposals.
The position combines hands-on selling with strategic sales leadership in a lean, entrepreneurial environment where you will have significant ownership of pipeline, forecasting, and revenue performance.

Accountabilities
- Own and manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through qualification, opportunity development, proposal management, negotiation, and signed contract.
- Develop and execute sales plans designed to achieve revenue, growth, and business development objectives across target industries, accounts, and regions.
- Build, maintain, and actively manage a healthy sales pipeline covering Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management licenses, implementation services, projects, managed services, and product-led opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through direct outreach, partner relationships, referrals, networking, events, and broader market engagement.
- Develop strategic accounts and identify opportunities to expand relationships and services within existing customer organizations.
- Qualify and prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit, potential deal value, timing, customer needs, and probability of success.
- Lead discovery meetings and early-stage customer conversations to understand business challenges, operational requirements, strategic priorities, and technology needs.
- Maintain consistent prospect follow-up and ensure qualified opportunities progress effectively through the sales pipeline.
- Build strong relationships with prospects, customers, Microsoft stakeholders, alliance partners, and other members of the enterprise technology ecosystem.
- Lead sales presentations, commercial discussions, solution positioning, and executive-level meetings with prospective and existing clients.
- Partner with solution architects, functional leads, technical consultants, and delivery teams to develop practical, competitive, and compelling solution approaches.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing models, commercial presentations, and other deal documentation.
- Lead contract negotiations and close opportunities in alignment with business objectives, commercial guidelines, and risk considerations.
- Collaborate with leadership on sales priorities, target sectors, account strategies, and go-to-market initiatives for services, industry solutions, and ISV offerings.
- Provide market feedback to leadership regarding customer requirements, competitive activity, emerging opportunities, and changing industry trends.
- Maintain accurate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) records, pipeline data, opportunity status, sales activities, and forecasts.
- Establish disciplined CRM usage, follow-up processes, opportunity management practices, and forecasting routines.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and recommend actions to improve conversion rates, sales velocity, and overall win rates.
- Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on pipeline health, active opportunities, forecasts, sales activity, and market developments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- 7+ years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales, business development, or commercial leadership.
- Proven success managing the complete B2B sales cycle from prospecting and pipeline generation through negotiation and deal closure.
- Strong experience in professional services, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), enterprise software, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or related technology solutions.
- Demonstrated experience building pipeline, developing executive-level relationships, and closing complex solution-based sales.
- Proven ERP sales experience with mid-market and upper mid-market accounts.
- Experience selling implementation services, enterprise software, managed services, or other solution-based offerings.
- Demonstrated success generating net-new business and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Experience developing commercial proposals, pricing models, Statements of Work, and other sales documentation.
- Strong contract negotiation and commercial deal-management skills.
- Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasts, and opportunity activity through a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
- Experience selling Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management solutions is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP implementation projects, managed services, and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) or software product sales is preferred.
- Experience working with Microsoft ecosystem partners, alliance channels, or indirect sales models is valued.
- Exposure to industries such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, healthcare, or other enterprise sectors is beneficial.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Highly self-driven, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial, and relatively flat organizational environment.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively across sales, consulting, solution architecture, product, marketing, delivery, and partner teams.
- Annual salary range of $105,000–$135,000, depending on experience.
