Responsibilities:

Design and develop ETL jobs in Informatica against Relational databases and Flat files.
Gathering business requirements and creating technical specifications and ETL mapping documents.
Work closely with Datamodelling team and DBAs.
Develop Unix Shell Scripts for jobs automation.
Develop error handling capabilities and Performance tuning.
Develop and execute Unit test plan and support SIT/UAT testing.
Troubleshoot & analyze production issues and provide support (including off-hours at times)

Required Skills/Experience:

6+ years of Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence design and development
5+ years of experience in ETL Development, using Informatica. Informatica 8.6.1 would be plus
Troubleshoot ETL failures, defects and remediate them. Experience in resolving ETL performance issues.
Strong Unix and Windows Scripting skills.
Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle 10g or later, with a proven ability to perform thorough analysis. Teradata experience a plus.
Knowledge of software development life cycle for Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or on a team with high motivation and quick learning.
Excellent analytical, technical aptitude and proven ability to solve problems and the ability to engage effectively with business and technical teams.
