ETL Data Tester - ETL Testing, Data Warehouse, SQL, UNIX/Linux, Informatica
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of ETL processes, data pipelines, and Data Warehouse solutions
- Validate source-to-target data mappings, data transformations, and business rules
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for data validation
- Perform data reconciliation, completeness, accuracy, and integrity checks across systems
- Write complex SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and defect investigation
- Utilize UNIX/Linux commands for file validation, batch job monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve defects
- Support defect tracking, root cause analysis, and test reporting activities
- Exposure to Informatica workflows, mappings, and ETL jobs is preferred
- Experience with Python automation for test automation, data validation, and reporting will be considered a strong advantage
