Euronext Securities - Functional Analyst Data Automation Messaging, internship

Euronext Securities is seeking a Functional Analyst Intern within our Software Factory team in Milan to support the data, automation and messaging functional analysis across multiple CSDs. You will contribute to requirements, user stories, and documentation in an Agile setting.

The role offers hands-on learning in a European, international environment with stakeholders across finance tech and operations, and opportunities to grow within a dynamic capital markets organization.

Supporting the collection and analysis of business requirements related to data, robotic process automation (RPA) and messaging processes. Contributing to the drafting of functional specifications and user stories for new features and process improvements. Learning and applying functional analysis methodologies and tools in an Agile/Scrum environment. Assisting in conducting gap analyses and documenting solution options. Facilitating communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements. Helping to prepare project updates and status reports. Maintaining clear and up-to-date documentation of functional specifications and user stories. Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or a related field (or currently enrolled). Strong interest in functional/business analysis, data, RPA and financial services. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Analytical mindset, attention to detail and eagerness to learn. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Proactive attitude, curiosity and openness to feedback. Excellent knowledge of both Italian and English (written and spoken).
