The ICCT is looking for an intern to join our office in New Delhi, working to support EV charging infrastructure-related projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the nonprofit and climate action space.


You will:

  • Participate in research projects related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure requirements in Delhi.
  • Conduct technical research and quantitative analysis under the guidance of ICCT researchers.
  • Support the team in conducting stakeholder consultations and data collection from CPOs, DISCOMs and other ecosystem players as required
  • Support the team in drafting research reports and preparing project communication materials.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned based on project needs.

You have:

  • Master’s student in Urban planning, Transport planning, Engineering, Public Policy or Economics.
  • Knowledge of or project experience related to charging infrastructure, power systems, renewable energy or electric vehicles is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Advanced data analysis skills in Excel and familiarity with quantitative analysis tools such as Python, R, or Matlab.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, with a minimum internship duration of 6 months.


Our benefits

The internship contract will have a duration of 6 months, with a potential extension to 12 months. You will work in our New Delhi office, reporting to the Program Lead in Delhi. ICCT will provide a laptop and other office equipment as needed. This will be a paid internship offering stipend as per market standards in the non-profit sector.
