Evergreen Refreshments is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Transfer Driver to support our nightly product transfers between our Portland warehouse and Albany facility.

If you enjoy driving, working independently, and being part of a team that keeps operations running smoothly, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You'll operate a company refrigerated truck, transport products between locations, and help ensure our teams have what they need to serve customers every day.

This is a critical role within our operation, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in being reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious.

What You'll Do & What Success Looks Like

As a Transfer Driver, you will:

• Safely operate a company refrigerated truck between Portland and Albany
• Load, unload, and transfer products efficiently and accurately
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure products arrive safely and on schedule
• Complete required delivery and vehicle documentation
• Support warehouse operations before and after transfer runs
• Follow all company safety policies and transportation regulations

Successful drivers are dependable, punctual, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently. They take ownership of their route, communicate effectively, and consistently complete transfers accurately and on time.

Schedule

Sunday through Thursday

• Start time approximately 7:00 PM
• Prepare transfer inventory and load vehicle in Portland
• Drive to Albany and unload products
• Reload transfer inventory as needed
• Return to Portland
• Complete final unloading duties and end shift

Schedule may vary slightly based on operational needs.

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate a refrigerated delivery truck
• Strong commitment to safe driving practices
• Ability to work evening and overnight hours
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Basic math and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Previous delivery, transportation, warehouse, logistics, or route-driving experience is a plus, but not required
