Evening Closing Manager - Lopezville

Job Purpose:
- To oversee and manage all aspects of the grocery store's closing operations, ensuring efficient and effective procedures are followed, maintaining a high level of customer service, and maximizing profitability during closing shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of closing staff, including cashiers, stockers, and cleaning crew, delegating tasks and providing guidance as needed.
- Ensure all closing procedures are followed accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, register reconciliation, inventory control, and security protocols.
- Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and appearance, ensuring shelves are stocked, aisles are clear, and the store is presentable for the next business day.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage and control shrink, waste, and other expenses associated with closing operations.
- Enforce safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Train and develop closing staff on store policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
- Communicate effectively with the opening management team to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies to management.
- Monitor and maintain proper temperature control for perishable goods.
- Oversee the proper disposal of waste and recycling materials.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance needs to management.
- Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately and on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
