Evening Part Time Custodian
Summary
Evening part-time custodian at Michigan Lutheran Seminary performing routine cleaning, restroom maintenance, event setup/takedown, and assisting with seasonal outdoor tasks like snow removal and lawn care. Requires flexibility for occasional weekend events.
- Provide basic cleaning of assigned areas.
- Provide deep cleaning of common spaces, restrooms, and other areas as assigned and/or needed.
- Complete janitorial work orders as assigned and in a timely manner.
- Report repair or maintenance needs as observed during daily activities.
- Assist with set-up and/or takedown for special services, concerts, plays, and other events or activities, as scheduled or needed.
- Provide scheduled cleaning and servicing of restrooms and common areas prior to evening and weekend events when needed.
- Assist maintenance staff in periodic tasks related to weather or seasonal needs, such as snow removal, mowing, or cleanup of leaves and lawn debris.
- Other duties as assigned, based upon the needs of the school or department.
