Summary: The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, directing community events, and assisting the Manager with the completion of management obligations related to customer service experience.

Schedule:
Onsite, Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- General Duties
- Act as liaison for all vendors performing work on-site related to social events.
- Assist in creating and presenting recommendations for changes to policies, rules, and programs related to social events.
- Complete punch list items as assigned by the Manager.
- Perform such other operational duties as are assigned from time to time by the Manager.
- Community Events
- Plan and coordinate all annual and special community events.
- Obtain proposals from vendors for community event services and present them, as necessary, to the CSO Board of Directors for approval.
- Serve as staff liaison and provide administrative support to volunteer committees.
- Prepares and presents written financial reports per activity and future event proposals on an as-necessary basis to the CSO Board of Directors.
- Recreation Facilities
- Maintain direct communication with all event-related service providers.
- Attend and oversee all community-sponsored recreation and social events.
- Manages the activities calendar and schedules the use of the facilities to prevent scheduling conflicts.
- Follow approved priority use of facilities guidelines when scheduling CSO events.
