Event Coordinator (Part Time Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Shift M-F)
Who We Are:
We believe a workplace food program is something employees should love and look forward to every day. Powered by technology and a network of over 2,000 restaurants, Fooda feeds hungry people at work through our ongoing food programs located within companies and office buildings. Every day, each Fooda location is served by a different restaurant that comes onsite and serves fresh lunch from their chef’s unique menu. Fooda operates in over 20 major US cities and continues its expansion across the United States. Eight out of ten employees believe Fooda is one of their company’s top perks.
Fooda is currently recruiting for a part time Event Coordinator in our Memphis market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.
Part-time opportunity supporting a large Fooda client in the Memphis area!
We’re looking for someone who is hospitality-minded, hands-on, and takes pride in creating a great experience. This isn’t a desk-based event planning role—you’ll be onsite and actively involved in everything from setting up the space and supporting our restaurant partners to engaging with customers and cleaning up at the end of service.
The right person notices the details, jumps in without being asked, and understands that a clean, organized, elevated space is an important part of the customer experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own the onsite execution of Fooda events, including setup, restaurant support, customer experience, breakdown, and cleanup
Create a welcoming, organized, and polished environment and ensure the space looks great throughout service
Welcome our local restaurant partners onsite and assist them with setup and operational needs
Interact with customers throughout service, providing friendly, proactive hospitality and resolving questions or concerns in real time
Keep service areas, equipment, and surrounding spaces clean and organized before, during, and after events
Monitor restaurant setups to ensure Fooda standards for presentation, cleanliness, and overall experience are consistently met
Problem-solve onsite issues such as late restaurant arrivals, missing or incorrect items, equipment needs, and other service challenges
Learn and confidently use Fooda’s technology, systems, and standard operating procedures
Communicate issues and updates to the Operations Manager and escalate when additional support is needed
Jump in wherever needed to ensure every event runs smoothly and customers and restaurant partners have a great experience
This is an active, hands-on position. You should be comfortable being on your feet, setting up and breaking down service areas, moving supplies and equipment, cleaning, and pitching in wherever needed.
Schedule & Work Environment
This is a part-time position, with shifts scheduled between approximately 6:00 AM and 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Monday–Friday availability is our priority, and candidates should have flexibility to work both daytime and evening shifts. There may also be opportunities for occasional weekend shifts.
The position is indoors at an active, fast-paced, construction-like site. You should be comfortable working in this type of environment while maintaining a clean, professional, and welcoming food service experience.
