Event Manager

Event Manager

About Hypha

Hypha is an AI-native asset intelligence platform. We were founded in 2025, we are headquartered in New York, and we are building in one of the least digitized, most relationship-driven industries there is. That combination shapes how we go to market. Our buyers do not find us through a paid search campaign. They meet us in a room, at a dinner, on a conference floor, in a conversation that starts long before the badge scan and continues long after.

Which is why events are not a line item for us. They are a primary channel.

We are early and deliberately small. Everyone here owns something outright, decisions get made in days instead of quarters, and the work you do shows up in the market almost immediately.

Role Overview

Our event program is being built from a blank page. There is no legacy playbook to inherit, no ten-year-old vendor list, no “this is how we have always done it.” The Head of Event Marketing is standing up the strategy, the partner relationships, and the creative point of view. This role is the person who makes all of it real.

You will not be handed a run of show and asked to follow it. You will build it, pressure test it, staff it, run it, and then tell us what to change next time. This is a heavy execution role with real strategic surface area. If you want to be in the meeting where a wild idea gets floated and be the person who figures out how to actually pull it off, this is the job.

An event is not a moment in time. It is a campaign with a live component in the middle of it.

The event starts eight weeks out when we decide who we are trying to reach and why. It runs through the invite sequence, the pre-event outreach, the meeting bookings, the on-site experience, the follow-up cadence, and the clean handoff to Sales with context attached. It ends when we know what it produced and what we would do differently.

Anyone can produce a nice night. We are looking for someone who owns the whole arc.

  • Concept and planning

    • Define the event slate and annual strategy with the Head of Event Marketing.

    • Own project plans, including goals, budgets, vendor sourcing, and timelines.

    • Propose creative formats and high-impact activations that push our brand forward.

  • Tradeshows and conferences

    • Manage end-to-end booth presence, from floor selection and design to logistics and show services.

    • Orchestrate on-floor operations, including staffing schedules, demo flow, and conversation quality.

    • Maximize ROI by programming surrounding events like dinners, suites, and executive meetings.

  • Communication and audience build

    • Drive the full registration experience, from list strategy to email sequences and landing pages.

    • Partner with Sales on target list building and personalized pre-event outreach.

    • Align creative collateral and keep internal stakeholders updated with a single source of truth.

  • Execution

    • Own the run-of-show, vendor management, and on-site logistics.

    • Brief and manage the team to ensure consistent messaging and coverage.

    • Ensure rigorous data quality and lead capture throughout the event.

  • Wrap and handoff

    • Deliver enriched, actionable leads to Sales immediately post-event.

    • Analyze performance metrics and report on pipeline influence and cost-efficiency.

    • Codify lessons into templates and playbooks to build a repeatable system.

  • AI is part of the job, not part of the pitch

    • Use AI daily to scale prospect research, personalize outreach, and automate workflows.

    • Turn post-event signals into actionable data for Sales, ensuring no momentum is lost.

Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years running B2B events, ideally at a SaaS or high-growth company. Agency and hospitality backgrounds are welcome if you have made the jump to the brand side

  • Hands-on tradeshow experience across booth builds, exhibitor kits, show services, and drayage. You have been on a show floor at 6am and you know why the deadline calendar matters

  • A track record of managing several events at once without dropping the thread on any of them

  • Hands-on with event platforms such as Cvent, Splash, Swoogo, Bizzabo, Goldcast, or Sequel, and comfortable working in a CRM

  • Real budget ownership and vendor negotiation experience

  • Detail obsessed in a way your former colleagues would independently confirm. You are the person who catches the wrong date on the signage

  • Calm when something breaks at 4pm on load-in day, because something always does

What Sets You Apart

  • Commercial real estate, proptech, fintech, or another relationship-driven enterprise category

  • Experience running executive dinners and small-format hosted experiences, not just booth programs

  • You have built something weird that worked, and you can explain why it worked

Why Join Hypha

  • Be at the cutting edge of applied AI in commercial real estate

  • Have large scope and massive impact as an early senior hire

  • Work directly with the leadership team with high visibility from day one

  • Clear path to building and leading a team as the program grows

  • Competitive compensation: $130,000–$165,000 base salary plus equity

  • Travel: Approximately 20%, concentrated in event season

If you are ready to own how a well-funded, fast-growing company shows up in the world and to turn taste and judgment into measurable business results, we want to hear from you.
