Event Operations Manager - This Week In Fintech

You lead the end-to-end execution of flagship events, conferences, executive dinners, community gatherings, and sponsored experiences from concept through onsite delivery. You develop event strategies and programming, manage venues, vendors, sponsors, speakers, VIP attendees, budgets, timelines, travel logistics, communications, and onsite operations. You also build scalable event systems and cultivate relationships across the fintech ecosystem through thoughtful hospitality and curated experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of flagship events, conferences, executive dinners, community gatherings, and sponsored experiences
• Develop event strategies, programming concepts, and experience formats
• Build and manage relationships with venues, vendors, sponsors, speakers, VIP attendees, ecosystem partners, and community members
• Coordinate sponsor deliverables and partner integrations
• Manage production timelines, budgets, run-of-show documents, vendor coordination, travel logistics, attendee communications, and onsite operations
• Cultivate relationships across the fintech, startup, investor, and operator ecosystem
• Develop systems, playbooks, and repeatable processes for scaling the events platform

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in events, experiential marketing, hospitality, media, startups, fintech, or community programming
• Experience managing high-touch experiences involving founders, executives, investors, sponsors, and VIP audiences
• Organizational and project management skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build trust and long-term relationships
• Knowledge of audience experience, hospitality, branding, and event design
