Eventizer is a growing retail event organiser in Singapore, specialising in shopping mall atrium sales events, food and lifestyle fairs, themed fairs, roadshows and retail event spaces.
We work with shopping malls, brands and vendors to create engaging retail experiences and help businesses grow through offline retail opportunities.
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and hands-on Event Sales Executive with a strong ownership mindset to take charge of an assigned portfolio of retail events from planning and sales through execution and growth.
Your key focus is to drive vendor participation, sales and event profitability, while building strong relationships with vendors and mall management to generate recurring business and new growth opportunities.
You should have a good understanding of retail events, be commercially driven and resourceful, and most importantly — take ownership, move things forward and make things happen.
Be rewarded with sales commission and additional performance incentives for achieving event profit targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Sales & Profitability
· Drive vendor onboarding, sales negotiation and deal closing to achieve event sales, occupancy and profitability targets.
· Take ownership of assigned portfolio, event sales performance and Profit & Loss (P&L).
· Monitor sales and profitability and take timely action where performance is below target.
· Drive repeat bookings and optimise revenue opportunities.
2. Event Planning & Vendor Management
· Assess event feasibility based on venue cost, space size and location, event format, vendor demand and revenue potential.
· Conceptualise suitable event themes, formats, product categories and vendor mix.
· Plan vendor mix and booth allocation to optimise occupancy, product variety and event performance.
· Build strong vendor relationships and understand their products and business needs.
· Coordinate key event requirements with vendors and relevant stakeholders.
· Review event performance and vendor feedback for continuous improvement.
3. Event Operations & Execution
· Coordinate event logistics, part-time manpower, contractors and operational requirements.
· Lead and supervise event setup, on-ground execution and pack-up to ensure smooth event delivery.
· Act as the main point of contact and maintain good working relationships with vendors, mall management, contractors and event partners.
· Resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.
· Ensure events are executed according to required standards, schedules and venue requirements.
4. Business Development & Growth
· Source and identify new vendors, brands and product categories for upcoming events.
· Visit relevant fairs, markets, exhibitions, pop-ups and retail events to identify new vendors, trends and opportunities.
· Develop new vendor relationships and strengthen the sales pipeline.
· Identify and coordinate suitable content creators, influencers and KOLs for event collaborations, social media content and event marketing.
· Explore new malls, venues, event dates and partnership opportunities.
· Identify new event concepts and opportunities to grow event revenue.
Requirements
· At least 2 years of relevant experience in retail events, event sales, vendor management, retail space rental, food & lifestyle fairs, atrium sales, warehouse sales, pop-ups or similar retail event formats.
· Diploma or Degree in Events Management, Retail, Business Management or a related discipline is preferred.
· Strong sales and target-driven mindset with good commercial awareness.
· Confident in managing event sales, profitability and P&L.
· Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
· High level of ownership, accountability and initiative.
· Organised, resourceful and able to manage multiple events and deadlines.
· Positive attitude with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
· Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
· Familiar with Canva, social media platforms and digital productivity tools.
· Comfortable using ChatGPT and other AI tools for research, communication and productivity.
· Willing to work late hours, weekends and public holidays according to event setup, pack-up and operational requirements.
Work Hours, Location & Leave
· 5.5-day work week / 44 hours per week.
· Mainly based at Kaki Bukit, with regular work at various event sites as required.
· Working hours may vary according to event schedules, including setup and pack-up nights, weekends and public holidays.
· 12 days annual leave plus 1 additional birthday leave.
Remuneration & Progression
Basic Salary
· SGD $3,000–$3,500 per month, commensurate with relevant experience and capabilities.
Commission & Performance Incentive
· Sales commission upon achieving the monthly event profit target.
· Additional performance incentive for achieving the higher monthly event profit target.
· Commission and incentive are subject to the company's Performance Rewards Policy and qualifying conditions.
