Event Supervisor (Weddings & Corporate Events)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Supervisor to manage and oversee the execution of weddings and large-scale corporate events. This role requires specialized operational expertise, vendor coordination, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality events in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end event operations, including planning coordination, on-site execution, and post-event evaluation
  • Supervise and manage event crew, ensuring efficient manpower planning and deployment
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders (clients, venues, decorators, caterers, AV teams) to ensure seamless delivery
  • Develop and manage detailed event timelines, logistics plans, and contingency strategies
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and operational protocols
  • Troubleshoot complex on-site issues and implement effective solutions under time pressure
  • Monitor event budgets, resource allocation, and cost control where required
  • Prepare operational reports and recommend process improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in event management, hospitality, or operations
  • Proven experience handling weddings or large-scale events with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple concurrent events
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays based on event schedules
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. hospitality, event management, or operations) are an advantage
