Event Supervisor (Maternity Cover) F/M/X
We are seeking a dynamic Event supervisor to join our wonderful team on a temporary contract, covering a maternity leave. This is an exceptional opportunity to create unforgettable experiences for our discerning guests.You will have the key missions below:
- Supervise the daily work of the Event Specialist, providing guidance and operational support to ensure effective coordination and execution of events.
- Oversee the planning and operational execution of group bookings and events, including meetings, conferences, and social events, ensuring consistency and service quality.
- Follow the full lifecycle of events sold by the department, from initial qualification and planning through on-site execution and post-event follow-up.
- Conduct qualification calls and site inspections for events, gathering and validating client requirements to support accurate planning and execution.
- Act as a key operational point of contact for internal departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the event planning and delivery process.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments (Food & Beverage, Rooms Division, Kitchen, Banqueting, AV, Housekeeping) to ensure seamless and efficient event delivery.
- Work in close collaboration with the Banqueting Manager, the key contact responsible for the execution of all F&B-related services.
- Prepare and oversee event-related documentation, including proposals, contracts, function sheets, detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and Group Resumés.
- Monitor event setups and on-site operations, ensuring adherence to service standards and brand expectations.
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support revenue optimization through upselling, within the scope of event execution and operational delivery.
- At least 2 years of experience in luxury hospitality events or operations.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Operational mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to supervise and support junior team members.
- English : mandatory, second language a plus
- Opera & Delphi : mandatory
- Gross annual salary range: 26.000 - 30.000 euro
