Role Overview
We’re searching for a part-time Event Support Driver to assist the 710 Labs team with delivery, set up and break down at events. The 710 Labs team hosts events across Michigan on a regular basis and requires the support of an individual who can move tables, tents, and other large, heavy items from our facility to events and back.
This key position works closely with the Marketing, Operations and Sales teams at 710 Labs. This role requires a smooth communicator and a responsible, independent, self-motivated individual comfortable with executing without supervision. This individual will work a varied schedule with a large distribution of hours on evenings and weekends.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely deliver non-cannabis items from 710 Lab's facility to events and back to facility
- Assist in set up and break down at events
- Communicate with sales team members and event staff to ensure proper delivery and set up of items
- Able to follow standard operating policy and safety procedures
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect
- Driver will not be transporting cannabis product, but should be aware of and follow CRA regulations while at events where cannabis may be present.
Role Requirements
- At least 25 years of age (this is for insurance reasons)
- Able to work part-time hours, the hours will vary but are estimated to be 20-29/week.
- Able to work late into evenings
- Able to travel to all parts of Michigan
- In possession of a cargo van or pickup truck large enough to carry 3-4 8’ tables
- Ability to pass all required reference and background checks required by the company and mandated by the State of California and Los Angeles County for cannabis industry employees
- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet the requirements of the Company's Motor Vehicle Policy
- Reliable vehicle with up-to-date registration and insurance
- At least $100,000 coverage in car insurance (Bodily Injury and Property Damage)
- Must be able to carry/lift various products from 50-75 lbs. and sit for extended periods of time.
- Strong time management and customer service skills
