Events Designer

Open 30d

About the Role
We're looking for an Events Designer who can turn a blank brief into something people stop scrolling for. At 2+1 Concepts, you'll be actively shaping the visual identity of live events, from motorsport activations like Sprint Fest Singapore to corporate engagements and community programmes. If you get a kick out of seeing your design come to life on-site — this is built for you.

Scope of Work

  • Bring a concept from a brief to a fully realised visual system — key visuals, event collateral, signage, digital assets, video content and more

  • Design across both 2D graphics and video/motion for event activations, social media, and on-site displays

  • Produce polished, on-brand work using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)

  • Partner with key team members to ensure design intent survives contact with the real world — venue constraints, print specs, production timelines

  • Bring ideas to brainstorms and pitches. Active participation and communication is required even after the concept is locked

  • Be on-site for key events to problem-solve last-minute visual and layout issues as they come up

What we are Looking For

  • A portfolio that shows your work process — not just pretty graphics, but the process of how you thought through a concept and carry it across formats

  • Solid grip on design fundamentals: typography, colour, layout, composition — the elements that separates "looks fine" from "looks intentional"

  • Working proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign at minimum; After Effects and Premiere Pro experience is a strong plus

  • Comfort working in both print and digital production — you understand bleed, resolution, file specs, and what affects a design when translating from screen to physical space

  • An eye for spatial/3D visualization — you can look at a floor plan or venue and picture how signage, backdrops, or booths will actually sit in that space

  • Time management that holds up under real deadline pressure — events don't move their dates for you

  • A collaborative streak: you take feedback well, communicate clearly with non-designers, and don't disappear into your own workflow

A sense of ownership and pride over your own work

Good to Have

  • Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field

  • 1–2 years in events, activations, or a fast-paced creative/agency environment

  • Motion graphics or animation experience

  • Exposure to digital marketing content (social-first design, campaign assets)

To Apply

Send us your portfolio, resume, and a short note on a project you're proud of and why. We're less interested in a long list of tools you've touched and more interested in seeing how you think — show us the process, not just the final frame.
