Wings Over the Rockies

Events Manager

Posted Updated
Discussion

The Events Manager plays a key role in delivering seamless, high-quality events at both the Air & Space Museum and Exploration of Flight locations. In the events industry, the “Manager” title reflects responsibility for on-site event execution and logistics, rather than direct people management.

This is a hands-on, shift-based role responsible for leading day-of-event operations, including coordinating Wings staff, volunteers, and external vendors. Responsibilities include managing event logistics such as deliveries, traffic flow, load-in and set-up, troubleshooting in real time, and ensuring a smooth event close.

Events Managers are part of the Corporate Events team and report to the Director of Corporate Sales & Events. They work closely with Event Sales and Operations Manager, Facilities and other cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience.

Work Schedule: variable (shift bidding)* *This position requires signing-up for open shifts to include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift assignments are awarded on a first-come/first-serve basis. Event scheduling and frequency is variable and subject to change. Wings Over the Rockies makes every effort to provide open shifts but cannot guarantee work due to event availability, client cancellations/rescheduling, weather conditions, Museum closures, etc.
