Job Role: Events & Partnerships Manager

Compensation range: $1,400 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Our client is a growing professional services business that delivers industry-leading workshops, networking events, and educational programs for business professionals. As the business continues to expand, they are looking for an experienced Events & Partnerships Manager to support the successful delivery of their growing event portfolio.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Events & Partnerships Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of both in-person and virtual events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building meaningful relationships, and has a passion for creating exceptional event experiences.

As the business continues to grow, you'll play a key role in expanding its event offerings while ensuring every event is delivered seamlessly from planning through to post-event evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Delivery

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a range of in-person events, including networking dinners, workshops, and conferences.
  • Coordinate virtual events and webinars, ensuring a smooth experience for speakers and attendees.
  • Develop detailed event timelines, run sheets, and project plans.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue sourcing, supplier coordination, catering, audiovisual requirements, and event materials.
  • Coordinate attendee registrations, confirmations, dietary requirements, and event communications.
  • Oversee on-the-day event delivery and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Partnerships & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with venues, suppliers, speakers, sponsors, and external partners.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure events align with broader business objectives.
  • Liaise with the marketing team to ensure upcoming events are promoted through newsletters, social media, and other marketing channels.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Track registrations, attendance, and engagement across all events.
  • Collect attendee feedback and prepare post-event reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve future events through data, feedback, and operational insights.
  • Monitor event budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.





Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, solutions-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience coordinating corporate events, workshops, conferences, or community events.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working with venues, suppliers, speakers, and external partners.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and confidently resolve last-minute challenges.
  • High attention to detail and excellent time management.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience supporting webinars or virtual events is highly regarded.
  • Experience using event management platforms, CRM systems, or project management tools is advantageous.

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

  • This role is offered under an Independent Contractor agreement, meaning you’ll be responsible for managing your own taxes, benefits, work equipment, and internet connection. You will need to provide your own computer. You will not be entitled to employee benefits such as paid leave or health insurance from the client. It is a full-time, dedicated role, so you will be expected to work exclusively with our client for the duration of the engagement. A reference check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
