EverCommerce - Marketing Automation Manager

This is a fully remote opportunity for a Marketing Automation Manager supporting a portfolio of SaaS solutions serving service-based businesses.
You’ll own the execution and optimization of scalable lifecycle marketing programs across the customer journey.
The role combines strategic lifecycle thinking with hands-on campaign building, automation, segmentation, personalization, and quality assurance.
You’ll directly contribute to pipeline efficiency, conversion, customer retention, expansion, cross-sell, and long-term customer value.
Working primarily with Marketo and connected CRM systems, you’ll turn business objectives into measurable, data-driven customer journeys.
You’ll collaborate closely with Growth, Digital, Customer Marketing, Sales, RevOps, Product, creative, and analytics teams.

Accountabilities:
- Manage day-to-day lifecycle marketing and marketing automation activities, including campaign setup, segmentation, scheduling, tagging, QA, and deployment across one-time, recurring, and triggered campaigns.
- Build and optimize customer journeys spanning acquisition, nurture, conversion, onboarding, retention, expansion, and advocacy.
- Translate business objectives and campaign requirements into scalable, maintainable lifecycle programs that improve funnel performance and customer engagement.
- Develop personalized campaigns using segmentation, triggers, audience logic, messaging, and calls to action aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
- Maintain accurate campaign and lifecycle tracking across connected Salesforce environments and marketing automation platforms.
- Ensure clean data, appropriate attribution, and effective alignment between marketing and sales systems to support closed-loop reporting.
- Perform detailed campaign QA to identify issues with audience segmentation, personalization, messaging, data, compliance, delivery, and overall customer experience.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, journey performance, delivery failures, and other execution risks.
- Proactively identify potential campaign or customer-experience risks and escalate issues with recommended solutions.
- Collaborate with Lifecycle Marketing Managers, copywriters, designers, analysts, Growth, Digital, Customer Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Product teams.
- Provide input on campaign feasibility, timelines, technical requirements, and execution approaches during planning.
- Balance execution speed, quality, scalability, and platform limitations while continuously improving campaign performance and ROI.
- 4–6+ years of professional experience in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, CRM, or a closely related discipline.
- Hands-on experience building, launching, and managing campaigns using Marketo and HubSpot, or comparable platforms such as Eloqua, Pardot, or Customer.io.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation fundamentals, including segmentation, triggers, personalization, automated journeys, campaign logic, and lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and CRM-to-marketing-automation integrations, including data synchronization, personalization, attribution, and closed-loop reporting.
- Experience supporting end-to-end lifecycle marketing programs across multiple stages of the customer journey.
- Strong understanding of campaign QA, data quality, testing, troubleshooting, and execution standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong quality-assurance mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify execution issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across marketing, sales, product, revenue operations, and technical teams.
- Comfortable working independently within a distributed, remote-first environment and coordinating effectively across multiple time zones.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to travel occasionally to company headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or other North American office locations if required.
- Salary: Target base compensation of $115,000–$125,000 USD per year in most U.S. locations, with final compensation determined by location, market conditions, experience, and expertise.
