Excavator Operator with LM Certified

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Hydraulic Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will operate hydraulic excavators for excavation works and lifting operations while ensuring compliance with all workplace safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic excavators safely and efficiently for excavation, trenching, backfilling, grading, and earthworks.
• Carry out lifting operations using excavators certified as Lifting Machines (LM).
• Perform daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance of the excavator.
• Follow lifting plans, method statements, and site safety procedures.
• Work closely with site supervisors, lifting supervisors, and signalmen.
• Ensure the machine is operated in accordance with MOM and company safety requirements.
• Report any equipment defects or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Valid Hydraulic Excavator Operator Certificate.
• Valid Certificate for Using Hydraulic Excavator as a Lifting Machine (LM Certificate).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience operating hydraulic excavators in Singapore construction projects.
• Familiar with excavation works, lifting operations, and construction site safety practices.
• Able to read and understand basic site instructions.
• Good safety awareness and responsible work attitude.
• Able to work overtime when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• REO/SPPG certification is an advantage.
• Experience in ERSS, basement excavation, or civil engineering projects.
• Class 3 driving licence is an added advantage.
