Executive Assistant (Finance & Business Operations)

Job Summary

Manage financial operations including budgeting, cashflow, reporting, and vendor payments to support regional business growth and compliance across APAC markets.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control budgets to ensure financial targets are met and resources are optimally allocated
  • Plan cashflow to maintain liquidity and support operational needs across multiple markets
  • Prepare and deliver management reports to provide insights on financial performance and support decision-making
  • Manage banking relationships to facilitate smooth financial transactions and optimize banking services
  • Reconcile payment gateway transactions to ensure accuracy and timely processing of payments
  • Coordinate cross-border payments to comply with regulations and support international operations
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance
  • Oversee procurement processes to ensure cost-effective purchasing and vendor compliance
  • Manage vendor payments to ensure timely and accurate settlements
  • Prepare for audits by organizing financial documentation and addressing auditor queries
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards to track key metrics and support business analysis
  • Report on KPIs to monitor financial health and operational efficiency

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification
  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
  • Must be knowing English and both Chinese

Other Information

  • Experience working with APAC finance operations
  • Proficiency in managing multi-currency transactions
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Xero, SAP, or Oracle
