JOB SUMMARY

Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Vice President, Executive Director, Director, and Administrative Staff that facilitate and support efficient and effective operations. Serves as a frontline representative to patients, physicians, community leaders and other HMC and HPG staff. Relieves the executive of administrative type functions in order to increase the time an executive has available for executive level responsibilities. May handle a wide variety of situations and conflicts involving the clerical and administrative function of the office. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Prepares routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda, and reports. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Assists with coordination of financial projects and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules and identifies and assists with resolving technical problems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate Degree required or equivalent experience. Minimum of four years experience in the administrative assistant field or in a related area. Four year undergraduate college degree preferred.

Licensure: N/A

Experience: A minimum of four years work experience preferable in business or health care environment.

Skills: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, proficient in Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, typing and transcription.
