Mastercard Software Builders Experience (MSBX) is responsible for enabling more than 12,000 engineers globally to build, test, secure, and deliver software at scale. As part of Mastercard's ONE organization, MSBX delivers the platforms, tools, and services that power engineering productivity and developer experience across the enterprise.

Our teams build and operate strategic capabilities including:
• Developer Workbench and AI-powered engineering tools
• Application frameworks and software bootstrapping services
• Standardized CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
• Cloud platforms and infrastructure automation
• Software supply chain and engineering security capabilities

Job Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to serve as a trusted partner to the Senior Vice President of Mastercard Software Builders Experience (MSBX).

This role is far more than calendar management and travel coordination. The successful candidate will act as an extension of the SVP, helping drive operational excellence, executive effectiveness, organizational communication, and leadership engagement across a global organization.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. They possess exceptional judgment, discretion, professionalism, and the ability to engage confidently with senior executives, customers, and stakeholders across Mastercard.

This individual will anticipate needs before they arise, identify potential issues before they become problems, and help ensure the leader and organization operate at their highest level of effectiveness.


Executive Management & Strategic Support
• Serve as a trusted partner to the SVP, managing priorities, schedules, commitments, and executive communications.
• Proactively manage a complex global calendar across multiple time zones, ensuring strategic alignment of meetings and priorities.
• Anticipate scheduling conflicts, prepare recommendations, and optimize executive productivity.
• Coordinate and support executive staff meetings, leadership reviews, town halls, and strategic planning sessions.

Executive Communications & Inbox Management
• Manage, triage, and prioritize executive communications.
• Identify urgent items, required decisions, approvals, and escalations.
• Draft responses on behalf of the executive when appropriate.
• Maintain follow-up trackers to ensure commitments are completed.
• Surface issues requiring executive attention while filtering noise.

Operational Excellence
• Drive preparation and follow-up for executive meetings, ensuring action items, decisions, and commitments are captured and tracked to completion.
• Coordinate organization-wide meetings, leadership offsites, and team events.
• Develop executive briefings, presentations, reports, and communications for senior leadership audiences.
• Support business reviews, operating rhythms, and organizational planning activities.

Communication & Stakeholder Management
• Act as a key liaison between the SVP and internal and external stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with executives, chiefs of staff, executive assistants, and business partners across Mastercard.
• Facilitate clear communication and efficient follow-through across multiple teams and initiatives.
• Manage sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.

Business Operations & Administration
• Coordinate domestic and international travel, itineraries, expenses, and logistics.
• Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and organizational administration.
• Maintain organizational records, leadership materials, and operational documentation.
• Support special projects, executive initiatives, and strategic priorities as assigned.

All About You
Required Experience
• 7+ years supporting senior executives in a complex corporate environment.
• Experience supporting Vice President, Senior Vice President, or C-level leaders.
• Proven track record managing highly complex calendars and executive priorities.
• Experience coordinating large-scale leadership meetings, offsites, and organizational events.
• Strong business communication and executive presentation skills.

Preferred Experience
• Experience supporting technology or engineering organizations.
• Experience working within global, matrixed organizations.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Skills
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Proficient in using Microsoft Co-Pilot, cowork
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal direction.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Pay Ranges

New York City, New York: $76,000 - $118,000 USD
