About Gradient

Gradient is a creatively led, high-end experiential marketing agency in NYC. We build immersive, story-driven experiences — and as we grow, we're looking for an Executive Assistant to work directly with our Founder and help drive everything they touch.

Why This Role Matters

This isn't a narrow, task-list job — you'll own the Founder's time and follow-through. One day you're prepping a briefing on a CMO ahead of a big meeting; the next you're organizing a dinner in Paris, pushing outreach to 30 target contacts, or getting an article across the finish line. If it's taking time away from what the Founder does best, it's yours to own.

Because Gradient works globally, you'll need fluent English and French to support clients and partners on both sides of the Atlantic.

This role is perfect for someone who's deeply organized, endlessly resourceful, and thrives on variety — someone who'll learn how the Founder thinks and start anticipating what they need before they ask.

What You'll Do

  • Be a true extension of the Founder — managing priorities, follow-through, and the details that keep everything moving
  • Support business development: research prospects, coordinate outreach, and track opportunities in HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Plan events end-to-end, from a NYC client gathering to a dinner in Paris
  • Help move the Founder's writing projects from research to finished draft
  • Handle travel — bookings, itineraries, and the logistics that make trips easy
  • Prep the Founder for meetings and pitches with the right materials and context
  • Take on personal and logistical tasks that free up the Founder's time
  • Keep track of action items across every workstream so nothing slips

What Success Looks Like

The Founder is visibly more effective because you're by their side. Nothing they start gets lost or stalls. New business, events, and projects move promptly and professionally. And everyone who interacts with Gradient — clients, prospects, partners — walks away with a great first impression.

Who You Are

  • 1–3+ years in coordination, executive support, operations, or sales support
  • Fluent in English and French, spoken and written (required)
  • Based in NYC (required)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and relentless about follow-through
  • Proactive — you anticipate needs rather than wait to be asked
  • A strong writer and communicator
  • Energized by variety: research one minute, event planning the next
  • Curious about creative agencies, branding, and experiential marketing
  • Calm under pressure, and trustworthy with sensitive work
  • Bonus: experience at a creative agency or professional services firm, or working with French-speaking clients

Perks & Benefits

  • Hybrid work structure (NYC-based)
  • Health, dental & vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Paid parental leave
  • Generous PTO
  • Regular check-ins and mentorship
  • Direct exposure to agency leadership, growth strategy, and top-tier clients
