The Heirloom Room Creekside Restaurant & Bar is an upscale Appalachian restaurant in the heart of Gatlinburg, located within the Michelin-recognized Historic Rocky Waters Inn, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Dramatically cantilevered over the Little Pigeon River, The Heirloom Room offers a setting unlike anywhere else in the region, pairing elevated Appalachian cuisine with an intimate creekside dining experience in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains.

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Executive Chef to lead our culinary program and help define its next chapter.

This is more than an opportunity to run a kitchen. The Executive Chef will have the creative freedom to shape the menu, elevate the restaurant’s culinary identity, develop and inspire a talented team, and build upon a dining destination already known for quality, creativity, and memorable guest experiences.

We are looking for a chef who respects Appalachian ingredients and traditions while bringing a fresh, thoughtful point of view to the cuisine. Someone who cares deeply about the details, from sourcing and technique to presentation, consistency, team culture, and the experience guests take home with them.
