Specialising in building, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects, we deliver innovative and efficient solutions to meet the evolving needs of the industry.</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><b><u>Purpose and Scope:</u></b></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:14px;">The Contracts Engineering team plays a pivotal role in managing the financial & contractual provisions which is crucial to the successful delivery of building projects.</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><b><u>Responsibilities:</u></b></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Manage the financial & contractual provisions of all projects from pre-tender to post contract phases including quantities, variations, cost estimates, monthly claims, final accounts etc</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Work closely with Project Manager in preparing monthly updated project costing</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Develop suitable subcontract conditions for specific project requirements</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Prepare project budgeting and costing reports</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Responsible in cost estimating, quantity take off, claims preparation, variations and final accounts.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Review of contracts, prepare tender & contract documentations, tender analysis & reporting, measurement etc</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Review sub-contractors claims and materials on site</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Standardize all agreements (e.g. subcontracts and joint ventures) with alignment to contract policy</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><b><u>Requirements:</u></b></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Degree in Building/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in construction industry.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Strong in negotiation skills.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Good understanding & knowledge of contracts law and its application.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Preferably well versed in various form of contracts such as PSSCOC, SIA and FIDIC as well as other international form of contracts.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Preferably conversant in using CostX and/or Glodon Cubicost measurement software.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Strong communication and presentation skills.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Only Singaporean may apply</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><b><u>Our Culture at Sembcorp</u></b></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">At Sembcorp, our culture is shaped by a strong set of shared behaviours that guide the way we work and uphold our commitment to driving the energy transition. </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">We foster an institution-first mindset, where the success of Sembcorp takes precedence over individual interests.
