Key Responsibilities
Data Protection & Compliance
- Support the implementation and monitoring of data protection policies and practices to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Partner with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) to align business operations, systems, and processes with data governance requirements.
- Assist in coordinating internal audits, compliance reviews, and governance assessments.
- Manage end-to-end data breach response, including incident coordination, containment, investigation, root cause analysis, documentation, and reporting.
Governance, Risk & Performance Monitoring
- Compile, analyse, and interpret data to prepare reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for management.
- Support enterprise risk management initiatives, including risk profiling exercises and governance activities.
- Coordinate the implementation and administration of risk management systems and related initiatives.
- Assist in recognising and promoting good governance and data protection practices across the organisation.
Stakeholder Engagement & Administration
- Plan and coordinate training, awareness campaigns, and educational programmes to strengthen organisational understanding of data governance and risk management.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to support governance-related projects and initiatives.
- Perform financial, administrative, and operational support duties to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Min. Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Some exposure to data protection, PDPA, enterprise risk management, audit, compliance, or governance is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across different levels.
- Highly organised, meticulous, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new concepts and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
