Job Purpose:
To Design, development, and optimization of enterprise data engineering solutions across GaussDB, Teradata, and Hadoop ,OBS ecosystems, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performing data pipelines that support the organization's data warehousing, analytics, and business intelligence needs
Job Responsibilities:
- Understanding business requirements, designing and developing ETL pipelines and to develop complete data loading process.
- To support in internal and external Data Engineering Projects Investigation and Fixing of Data Quality Issues along with support for operational issues in case of failures.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses/lakes Architect and implement scalable data solutions using on prem & Cloud platforms Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical data solutions.
- Optimize data pipeline performance, ensure data quality, and implement data governance best practices.
- Work with structured and unstructured data across relational databases, data lakes, and streaming sources.
- Support project planning, estimation, and status reporting to senior leadership.
- Contribute to proposal development, solution's, and RFP activities as needed.
- Stay current with emerging data engineering tools and technologies, recommending adoption where relevant.
Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):
Education:
In principle, a bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Computer Science.
Work Experience:
Should preferably have 1-2 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering/ Analytics.

Skills – Job Specific:
- Strong understanding of SQL writing queries, joins, aggregations, and basic query optimization Programming proficiency in (Python or Java)
- Basic understanding of ETL/ELT concepts — extracting, transforming, and loading data between systems Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Teradata, GaussDB, etc.)
- Exposure to big data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Spark) — coursework, certifications, or hands-on projects count
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting Understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables, star/snowflake schema)
- Basic knowledge of NoSQL/caching systems (Redis, MongoDB)
