Executive Engineer (Geotechnical)

Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise ground investigations, including performing ground characterizations.
- Develop design concepts for geotechnical works.
- Conduct analyses and detailed designs for geotechnical structures and solutions.
- Perform structural-related designs as required.
- Coordinate and liaise with developers, contractors, authorities, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Manage and oversee geotechnical design projects, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
- Work on geotechnical challenges associated with infrastructure works (e.g., underground stations, tunnels, basements, slope stabilizations) and building works (e.g., basements, foundations, ground settlements).
- Be involved in the design aspects of these geotechnical works.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in geotechnical engineering projects (preferred).
- Proficiency in geotechnical design software (e.g., PLAXIS) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with local codes, regulations, requirements, and Eurocodes.
- Knowledge of authority submission processes for civil and geotechnical works (preferred).
- Conversant with statutory codes, site supervision practices, quality control procedures, and construction administration (preferred).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
