Executive & Facilities EA

SolidCor is on a mission to make volume fire door replacement possible within days — enabling the industry to rapidly achieve compliance and community safety in every building. Born out of the urgent need for change following the Grenfell disaster, we have built the fastest production times in the industry and the widest range of primary-tested fire door configurations. We are growing fast and we are looking for A-players to help us get there.
We are passionate about getting things right and obsessed with quality. Our products are safety-critical — when a fire door fails, the consequences are real. Behind every great operation is a team that keeps everything running smoothly — and that’s where you come in.
We are looking for an Executive & Facilities EA to provide high-quality executive support to our senior leadership team and take ownership of the day-to-day facilities management of our Chesterfield factory. This is a varied, hands-on role that sits at the heart of the business — keeping our leaders organised, our site well-run, and our office functioning at the standard SolidCor demands.
If you are proactive, highly organised, and take pride in doing things properly — this is the role for you.

If you are proactive, highly organised, and take pride in doing things properly — this is the role for you.
- Provide comprehensive executive assistant support to the SolidCor leadership team — including diary management, meeting coordination, travel booking, correspondence, and preparation of documents and presentations.
- Act as the first point of contact for the leadership team, managing communications, screening requests, and ensuring senior leaders can focus on the priorities that matter most.
- Take ownership of the day-to-day facilities management of the Chesterfield site — including coordinating maintenance, managing supplier relationships, overseeing cleaning and housekeeping standards, and ensuring the site is always well-presented and fit for purpose.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and consumables — ensuring the factory office and welfare areas are stocked, organised, and maintained.
- Coordinate health and safety administration for the site — including maintaining records, booking training, and supporting the management team with H&S compliance.
- Support the planning and delivery of internal events, company meetings, and visitors to site.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, filing, and document management across the leadership team.
- Support onboarding administration for new starters — ensuring inductions are coordinated and new team members have what they need from day one.
- Identify and implement improvements to how the office and facilities are run, bringing ideas that raise the standard across the site.
- An A-player mindset — high standards, extreme ownership and the drive to do things properly, the first time.
- Proven experience as an EA, PA, or Office Manager — ideally supporting a senior leadership team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills — able to manage competing priorities, multiple diaries, and a varied workload without dropping the ball.
- Excellent attention to detail — accurate, thorough, and consistent in everything you do.
- Clear and professional communicator — confident liaising with senior stakeholders, suppliers, and visitors at all levels.
- Proactive and self-motivated — comfortable identifying what needs doing and getting on with it without being asked.
- Experience managing facilities or office operations (preferable).
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 — particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Chesterfield-based and available full time.
This is a chance to play a key supporting role at one of the UK’s most exciting fire door manufacturers — keeping our leadership team organised and our Chesterfield site running to the standard the business demands. At SolidCor, we ask a lot — and we give a lot back. The hours are real, the standards are high and the work is demanding, but for those who show up, deliver and go the extra mile, the rewards follow. A-players here enjoy a competitive salary, a Personal Development Plan with ongoing training and mentoring, unlimited holiday, a bonus scheme paying up to 50% of annual salary, enhanced maternity and paternity, lunch, snacks and refreshments on us every day (fresh fruit and Takeaway Friday included), a team social budget, cycle to work, an auto-enrolment pension, two major company events a year and our Reward and Recognition scheme — including European mini-breaks for those who go above and beyond. It is a collaborative, high-energy environment focused on doing things the right way — and none of it is a perk for showing up; it’s what we share with the people pulling the business forward.
