Executive (HR COE & Operations) - $2760 (6 Months Contract) - Chinatown

Summary

Provide HR administrative and operational support for a government agency, handling recruitment, onboarding, and records management on a 6-month contract.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join a government agency's HR team on a 6-month contract. In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support across recruitment, onboarding, HR records management, and other HR functions. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and entry-level candidates to gain hands-on experience in public sector HR operations while developing strong stakeholder management and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including candidate shortlisting, interview scheduling, onboarding documentation, and personnel file creation.
  • Liaise with hiring managers, recruitment agencies, and candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain and update HR records, databases, and systems accurately and promptly.
  • Support the digitization and management of employee personnel files.
  • Prepare HR letters, certifications, and other employee-related documents.
  • Assist with procurement processes, including raising purchase orders and verifying invoices.
  • Provide administrative and operational support across HR functions as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
