The Production Executive is a key role responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day production activities within a company. This role involves coordinating various aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products or services. The Production Executive collaborates with cross-functional teams, manages resources, and implements strategies to optimize production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Planning:
    • Develop and implement production plans to meet organizational goals and customer demand.
    • Coordinate with the planning team to ensure adequate raw materials, equipment, and manpower is available.
  2. Process Optimization:
    • Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Implement best practices for quality control, waste reduction, and resource utilization.
  3. Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and lead production teams, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team productivity.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Monitor and enforce quality standards throughout the production process.
    • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  5. Resource Management:
    • Manage and allocate resources effectively, including labour, equipment, and materials.
    • Coordinate with relevant departments to address resource needs and resolve production-related issues.
  6. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare regular reports on production performance, key metrics, and areas for improvement.
    • Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and resource utilization.
  7. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
    • Propose and implement initiatives to enhance overall production efficiency and effectiveness.


Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Operations Management).

· Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role.

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

· Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health and safety standards.
