Executive ( Line Management)

Job Description Position: Line Management Executive Department Liner / Commercial / Operations Reports To Line Manager / General Manager – Liner Business

Job Purpose To manage the day-to-day commercial and operational activities of assigned shipping line services, ensuring vessel utilization, profitability, schedule integrity, customer satisfaction, and coordination with internal departments, overseas principals, agents, terminals, and partners.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Vessel utilization (%) • Revenue achievement • Gross margin per voyage • Slot utilization • Schedule reliability • Booking conversion rate • Customer satisfaction • Operational cost control • Accuracy and timeliness of reporting

Key Responsibilities Commercial Management • Manage assigned liner services and ensure revenue and profitability targets are achieved. • Monitor booking forecasts and vessel utilization. • Coordinate slot allocations with partner carriers. • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, Mainline Carriers, and NVOCCs. • Negotiate freight rates, slot exchanges, and service agreements. • Monitor market trends, competitors' activities, and freight indices. • Prepare pricing proposals and commercial quotations.
