The appointee is expected to provide administrative support to the Academic Affairs Section and the Undergraduate Studies Section.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to study programme administration, course registration, class timetabling, examination arrangement, student graduation matters, production of diplomas;
- Provide support to committee secretariats;
- Process student applications for academic transcripts and testimonials, change of study programmes, unit transfer, course exemption, etc;
- Coordinate University events, e.g. Commencement, new student enrolment;
- Liaise with internal and external parties; and
- Any other duties as assigned, e.g., assist in providing counter service and handling student enquiries.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree and at least two years of work experience. Relevant experience in universities or education institutes will be a definite advantage;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and proficiency in computer application skills;
- Good communication, interpersonal and organisation skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team;
- Good problem-solving skills, meticulousness and a strong sense of responsibility; and
- Self-motivation with positive work attitude, and the ability to work under tight schedule and pressure.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
