RESPONSIBILITIES
Nursing Operations & Service Development
- Support the implementation and coordination of nursing services, programmes, and operational initiatives.
- Assist in workflow reviews and process improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide secretariat support for nursing meetings, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, reports, and presentations, documenting key decisions and action items, and monitoring the timely follow-up and closure of action items.
Quality Unit Support
- Support the implementation and monitoring of quality management systems and frameworks.
- Assist in audits, accreditation processes, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage the collection, analysis, and monitoring of quality indicators, audit findings, operational dashboards, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support quality-related committees and workgroups, including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, note-taking and follow-up of action items.
- Facilitate root cause analyses and follow-up actions arising from incidents, complaints, and service gaps.
- Support risk management and patient / client safety initiatives.
- Maintain document control for organisation-wide policies
Clinical Education, Training & Competency Development
- Coordinate training programmes, workshops, and staff competency-related activities.
- Publicity and outreach for training courses
- Assist in the preparation of educational materials, presentations, roadmaps and reports.
Administrative and Operational Support
- Establish and maintain inventories, records, trackers, and document repositories.
- Support departmental events, projects, and staff engagement activities.
Other Duties
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the reporting officer.
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
- Experience in operations, administration in healthcare is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Organized and good time management.
- Analytical, reporting, and data management.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Meticulous, resourceful, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, adaptable, able to learn.
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies, process improvement, data analytics, clinical audits, accreditation standards, or patient safety initiatives will be an advantage.
