Executive – Product Compliance
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Affairs & Product Compliance Management
Ensure products comply with local HS codes, import regulations, and international standards across categories such as Household, Medical, Appliances, F&B, and Cosmetics.
Liaise with local country teams and third-party consultants for quotations, product approvals, and management of compliance certificates, licenses, and permits.
Collaborate with the import team to resolve any issues during the importation process.
Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to product compliance.
Monitor and report legislative changes, providing guidance to management on the impact of evolving regulations.
Maintain and update regulatory files and databases, including reports, licenses, permits, and certificates for internal record keeping.
Manage a tracking system for all compliance-related safety certificates, licenses, permits, and documentation.
General Responsibilities
Attend project meetings to provide updates and address compliance-related issues.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in product compliance, product safety, or regulatory affairs.
Good understanding of local regulations, Customs operations, and HS codes.
Experience working with third-party agencies and within ISO or product compliance frameworks.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to change.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) for coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
