We are partnering with the Queensland Government to appoint a highly experienced Executive Program Director to lead one of the State’s most significant transformation initiatives.

This is a rare opportunity to take carriage of a high-profile, multi-year program that will deliver meaningful outcomes for both government operations and the broader Queensland community.

The Opportunity As Executive Program Director, you will provide end-to-end executive leadership for a major transformation program focused on delivering a streamlined, integrated fines and penalties ecosystem across Queensland.

You will operate as the single point of accountability for program delivery, ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams spanning technology, data, business change, and architecture.

This role sits at the centre of a complex, multi-vendor and multi-agency environment, requiring strong executive engagement, governance capability, and the ability to drive outcomes at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale transformation program, ensuring outcomes are achieved across scope, budget, and timelines
• Establish a single integrated view of delivery across all workstreams, including risks, dependencies, and performance
• Drive alignment across business, technology, data, and architecture functions
• Provide strategic advice and reporting to senior executives, Program Boards, and governance forums
• Lead procurement strategy and complex vendor engagements, ensuring value for money
• Drive business change, adoption, and stakeholder alignment across government and external partners
• Build and lead high-performing, multidisciplinary delivery teams

About You You are a proven transformation leader with a track record of delivering large-scale, complex programs in government or highly regulated environments.
You will demonstrate:

• Extensive experience leading enterprise-wide ICT and data transformation programs
• Strong capability managing multi-vendor, system integration environments
• Deep understanding of governance, risk, and assurance frameworks within government
• Expertise in enterprise architecture, data, and integration-led delivery
• Exceptional ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders
• A hands-on leadership style, with the ability to drive delivery while maintaining strategic oversight
