Executive, Research | 1-Year Contract | Research & Data Analytics
Summary
The Research Executive supports the design and execution of quantitative and qualitative research studies, including data cleaning, analysis, and report preparation. The role involves coordinating fieldwork and utilizing analytical tools like SPSS, Python, R, or SQL to derive insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and execution of quantitative and qualitative research studies.
- Develop and refine questionnaires, discussion guides and other research materials.
- Support project planning, including sampling, timelines and fieldwork requirements.
- Coordinate and monitor fieldwork progress, response rates, data quality and project timelines.
- Work with internal teams, external vendors and fieldwork partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Clean, process and structure research data for analysis.
- Analyse data to identify patterns, trends and meaningful insights.
- Prepare reports, presentations, charts and other research deliverables.
- Translate research findings into clear and useful information for stakeholders.
- Keep updated on research methodologies, industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline; exposure to Business, Statistics, Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Analytics, Project Management or related areas is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail, particularly in data quality and accuracy.
- Familiarity with SPSS, Python, R, SQL or similar analytical tools is advantageous.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Curious about people, society and public opinion in Singapore.
