Summary
Oversee sanction compliance checks and policies for a financial services firm, ensuring adherence to regulations and mitigating business risks.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of sanction checks and adhere to compliance requirements.
- Assist business divisions in conducting required sanction checks, ensuring adherence to internal policies.
- Support the ownership and implementation of sanction policies effectively.
- Conduct regular reviews of sanction procedures, recommending and implementing modifications to mitigate business risks.
- Promote a robust risk culture within operations.
- Stay updated on sanction regulatory changes and oversee their implementation.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and reviews as assigned.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields.
- A minimum of 1 year of compliance or KYC experience in banking or financial services.
- Basic understanding of laws and legislation pertaining to the insurance industry is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
