Executive Strategy Advisor
Job Description
- Support Management on business strategies through financial and operational analyses.
- Review business assumptions, forecasts and recommend improvements.
- Lead the review and development of feedstock strategies, including assessment of feedstock availability, pricing, market trends, production requirements and supply scenarios, and recommend strategies to optimize cost, supply security, operational flexibility and profitability.
- Analyze business plans, sales & marketing plans, CAPEX, inventory, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow.
- Evaluate new business initiatives and projects from financial and commercial perspectives.
- Identify and recommend business improvement and cost optimization opportunities.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional strategic and business improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree or higher qualification in Business, Economics, Chemical Engineering, Science, or a related discipline from a reputable university.
- Fluent in both spoken and written Japanese to prepare reports and effectively communicate with the Japan Head Office management team.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English, with the ability to coordinate and collaborate with business units, affiliated companies, and external stakeholders across the region.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in business economics, corporate planning, strategic planning, preferably within the chemical or petrochemical manufacturing industry.
- Strong experience in feedstock strategy and economics, including feedstock sourcing and market analysis, with exposure to feedstock markets in the Middle East and manufacturing and commercial markets across ASEAN.
- Strong business acumen with proven capabilities in business data processing, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
